They just can't imagine struggling to pedal up that hill. If that sounds familiar, the Coastline may be the perfect bike for you. The Coastline is an affordable electric bike that offers the ultimate in comfort. With its wide seat and upright position, it’s a pleasure to ride. And when you come to a stop, the forward pedal design allows you to place your foot flat on the ground. No more balancing on your tip-toes. And its powerful Currie Electro-Drive® system has 450 watts of power that provides plenty of torque to pull you up a long hill or through a headwind. Powered by a sealed lead acid (SLA) battery pack that can easily be removed for charging or swapping, the Coastline can travel 15-22 miles with normal pedaling or about 10-15 miles with no pedaling at all, at speeds of 15+ mph. You can easily double that range by adding an optional second battery pack in the slot provided on the rear rack.
